There are three races: malakhim, daemons and humans.
The classes of each race are listed below.
Malakhim are elemental beings of wind, fire, earth and water. Malakhim can usually have a humanoid appearance, but they can take on the form of animals as well. They can't produce malevolence like humans, but they can be affected by it. When they've been around too much malevolence, they turn into dragons. Dragons have no memories of their past life as a malak, and act aggressively towards anyone in sight. Dragons can't be purified. Classes of this race are free malakhim, the malakhim who have not made a pact with a shepherd, prime lords, the malak who is the first to make a pact with a shepherd and give them the ability of armitization and purification, and sub lords, the malakhim who form a pact with the prime lord to work under their power and assist the shepherd that prime lord works with. Becoming a sub lord gives them the ability to armitize and assist the shepherd in purification. In order to become a prime or sub lord, one must have an divine artifact that aligns with their element and they must give their shepherd their true name. Malakhim are able to make an oath in order to increase their power, and the more personal or harder the oath is, the stronger their power. Malakhim can live for extended periods of time, such as 1000 years for example. They aren't invincible however. They can die from injuries, just like anyone else.
Daemons are people who have been consumed by their malevolence, and transform into monsters, whether they be more animal like, monster like, humanoid or a mix of two or more of those. They retain their memories and feelings of their past human life. They can be more feral in their actions, or more aware of their actions. Shepherds can purify them, given their heart isn't completely contaminated with their sins. If that's just the way they are, they shall remain a daemon. When people turn into daemons, they may gain certain abilities or lose parts of their humanity. For example, they may become immune to the cold or heat, they may lose some or all of their human feelings, they may gain a boost on an ability they already possess, they may gain an inhuman ability, etc. There are no classes for daemons, as daemons are just daemons.
Humans can be just regular old humans, meaning they haven't made a pact with a malak or became the squire of a shepherd. Most humans have low resonance, and can't see malakhim or daemon's real form in the slightest. They may also be shepherds, someone with high resonance who can see, hear and interact with malakhim and daemons without a problem and has made a pact with a malak that'll become their prime lord. They may or may not have sub lords working aside them. There's also a squire, a human who functions as an assistant to the shepherd they form the pact with. A shepherd may only have one squire, and a squire may only have one shepherd unless they purchase an extra slot for a squire/shepherd in the shop. The squire can have any level of resonance, but once they become a squire of a shepherd, they gain the ability to see and hear malakhim and a daemon's true form if they're unable to, and they gain the ability to use purification as long as the shepherd is nearby and armitize with the shepherd's prime lord and sub lords. However, if the squire's resonance is low, this causes problems for the shepherd—it'll strain the shepherd and cause fatigue. The shepherd must give their squire a true name as well. People with low resonance can build up their resonance over time with patience, practice and hard work.
