HISTORY
Desiree was born from an earthpulse near Aifread's Hunting Ground. She grew up by herself, taking care of herself as best as she can. She was rather isolated from other malakhim, and that has affected her by making her a loner. She prefers to be by herself, as that's what she's used to. The first time she came into contact with a human was when she was 3 years old, and she gained a morbid interest in them. She likes messing with them and scaring them, especially if they can't see her.
By the age of 15, she found herself wondering into Pendrago, making sure to cause as much mischief as she could. She enjoyed it to the point she started to get more aggressive, and thus more sadistic. It eventually started to make way into her interactions with others besides humans.
In Pendrago, she discovered painting and grew quiet fond of it. She'd sometimes take easels from a human painter's house, place them in the street with a canvas, and paint them. It'd entertain and terrify people. And she found that amusing. Plus, they got to see her art. An artist she regularly borrowed supplies from was a human with the surname von Aust. She grew attached to him, and eventually decided to take on his surname as her own as she found having a surname as sophisticated. As much as she likes messing with humans, she does have a genuine like of them.
After spending 30 years in Pendrago, she went back to Aifread's Hunting Grounds for a while. There, she painted on rocks with berries. You can still found some of her berry painted rocks hidden in water proof areas if you look hard enough. After a year there, she decided to start exploring the world around her.
With the influx of daemons, she has learned how to fight well, seeing as she is a traveler after all. For the more self aware and self centered ones, she occasionally makes deals with them given she gets something in return. An eye for an eye. She's been traveling for the past 81 years, and she's seen most of the land. For a matter of fact, some areas she can paint a map of just by memory.

She uses a paint brush as a weapon, and she uses it a lot like a wand. She doesn't have a divine artifact, and most likely wouldn't jump on the chance to join up with a shepherd anyways. Unless she was getting something out of it.
