PERSONALITY
She's very persistent and will do almost anything to get someone to go along with her whims. It'll take a few nos in order for her to get the idea. She likes to be lighthearted and a bright ball of sunshine, but she knows when to be serious. On the inside, she's actually pretty sad. She doesn't like the idea of showing it, so she acts cheerfully to combat it. She is kindhearted and has a difficult time turning away anyone in need. She enjoys being helpful and will do anything to help a friend out, especially her shepherd and sub lords. She is friendly and treats everyone kindly and fairly. Determined, she never falters even when the odds are stacked against her. She believes heavily in herself and her friends. She is absentminded and can wander off at times, sometimes at inappropriate moments. She is talkative and sometimes overshares information about herself and others in order to keep the conversation going. So with her, it's best to keep personal info personal. Unless that info is despondent in nature. Then she'll keep her mouth shut: she doesn't like sad stories, and refuses to spread them. She isn't the most reliable, even if she tries to be.
HISTORY
Rae was born in and grew up in Glaivend Basin. There, she was with another malak who was a lot like her sister. Her name was Dorisa. They took care of each other and spent a majority of their time with each other. They were inseparable. They decided to head out together on an adventure around the world, do some sightseeing and hear stories.
One day, they came across a divine artifact of fire and Dorisa happily took it. She was a malak of fire, just the same as Rae. After hearing that Maotelus has granted the malakhim the ability of purification, she became excited. Dorisa wanted to become a prime lord. Rae remembered as she turned towards her, telling her all of this. Telling her that maybe one day they'd find another divine artifact and that maybe one day Rae could become her sub lord.
Rae smiled happily at her words. She didn't have any ambitions of her own, so helping Dorisa as a a sub lord would be a perfect job for her. They went on with their adventure, now on the look out for a human with high resonance that would want to be their shepherd. But that never happened. Instead, they ran into a powerful daemon. The two stood no chance of defeating it, so they had to run. Dorisa tripped and fell, yelling at Rae to keep going without her. She threw her the divine artifact she had, telling her to keep it. To consider it a gift.
Rae ran off crying, only looking back when she knew she was far enough. That day, she grew a strong hatred for daemons. She hated them with every fiber of her being. Yet she didn't want them to die. She only wished for them to come to their senses and be turned back to normal. The power of purification would do that. She knew that much. It took some time, but she found a human with strong resonance who agreed to be her shepherd. That's what led her to where she is today.
